T he original part of the building housing Ferris Funeral Home was built c. 1870. It was the home of H.B.Donly and his family. Many of the features of the original house may still be seen today, such as the chestnut coffered ceiling in the one time dining room or one of the beautiful existing marble fireplaces located in the donation room. The curved archways and wide woodwork. We have tried to maintain the character and the Victorian charm of this great home and incorporate its features into a modern and welcoming environment.
